Dominic Nunns's work as a composer, conductor, horn-player and educator has explored rock, jazz, folk, klezmer, classic and contemporary film soundtracks, Arabic music, electronic music and rhythm-theatre with the award-winning Lost and Found Orchestra, follow-up to the global sensation STOMP.

Described by The Times as "a great British hope", Dominic Nunns is a classically trained musician with the ability to work in a wide range of styles. His adaptability in composing, orchestrating and producing music in a variety of genres with precision and feeling is increasingly bringing him to the attention of the movers and shakers in film and television. He has now worked on around 20 film soundtracks - including the James Bond movie Die Another Day - and is the composer for the irreverent Channel 4 TV show Modern Toss.

He has performed extensively across five continents, working with the orchestra of the Royal Shakespeare Company and others. His critically acclaimed completion of an unfinished Mozart Horn Concerto, created when Dominic was only 19, is published by Bärenreiter: the TES described this as "the ultimate seal of approval".

LATEST NEWS......... Dominic is currently composing for a new BBC series, provisionally titled The CGI Sketch Show. The music is due to be recorded in May 2008 with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by the composer.

The second series of Modern Toss was recently shown on Channel 4. Dominic's music went centre stage for the Swing News sketches. These were picked out for special praise by several newspapers including The Guardian, who described them as "joyous". In March 2008 Modern Toss was nominated for a Rose d'Or European TV award.

Also in March 2008 two more of Dominic's new reconstructions of classic film scores were recorded by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra: Batman Returns  and Meet Joe Black.

The score for the iMax film Wild Ocean was recorded during November 2007, with a UK studio orchestra conducted by Dominic Nunns. A premiere screening took place in March 2008 at the London iMax, and the film is now showing at theatres throughout the USA.
