"I can't imagine anyone (other than Mozart) doing it better" Stanley Sadie

Dominic Nunns's realisation of Mozart's fragment of Horn Concerto in E Major (K494a, 1786) involved filling out the 91-bar incomplete work into a full first movement, expanding on what already existed. Originally a piece of university coursework finished when Dominic was only 19 years old, the realisation was considered an accurate enough projection of the composer's intentions to be published by Bärenreiter, Germany - the world's leading scholarly publishers of Mozart's work.

"...a very convincing and stylish completion of the Mozart fragment in E" Anthony Halstead

Dominic's realisation has been performed by the London Symphony Orchestra's Principal Horn David Pyatt, and is available from music shops worldwide.
Dominic also contributed cadenzas, transcriptions and editorial advice for Bärenreiter's 2004 editions of Mozart's other horn concertos.
In an entirely different field, Dominic has also worked for the iTunes Music Store (USA) as a compiler of iTunes Essentials lists.
